Thimble Alterations LLC is seeking skilled independent contractors to alter bridal and formalwear from home. You will handle gowns, bridesmaid, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses, performing hems, zippers, and alterations with precision.

Expect fittings, measurements, and timely communication with clients through the platform. Ideal candidates have experience with bridal wear, strong garment construction knowledge, and excellent customer service.

Formación

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precise measuring.
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency.
• Professional communication and customer service for clients.

Responsabilidades

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured bridal gowns (lace, beading, layers, boning, tulle).
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace for fittings; respond to client requests via the platform.

Join our network of independent alteration professionals specializing in bridal and wedding wear.

What You\'ll Do

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers)


• Work with structured bridal gowns (multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning/tulle)


• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly


• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings We also receive requests for prom dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, suits, and other formalwear.

Requirements

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations


• Strong garment construction knowledge + precision measuring


• Machine + hand sewing proficiency


• Professional communication and customer service
