Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; we'll provide all the training you need to succeed
• Ability to decorate and deliver cakes with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly smile and take orders at the bakery counter.
• Check orders for the day, set up timeline and production schedule.
• Decorate bakery items and keep up with new designs and trends.
• Develop daily bakery orders for bakers including cake sizes.
• Track daily production and coordinate tasks with co-workers.
• Check product dates, pull cases, and restock as needed.
• Order decorating supplies and verify receipt of orders.
• Deliver wedding cakes on-site and set up where required.
• Lead and guide part-time employees, providing instruction and feedback.
• Participate in cross-training and maintain sanitation standards.
• Answer the phone and provide friendly, helpful service to customers.
