Job summary

Walters Wedding Estates in Conroe, TX seeks enthusiastic Banquet Server for part-time weekend events. You will set up banquet areas, greet guests, serve plated or buffet meals, and respond to guest needs to ensure flawless events.

Work closely with culinary and planning teams, maintain a clean space, and complete closing duties. Must have Texas licenses and ability to lift 30 lbs; prior event service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar banquet service role.
• Texas TABC license and Food Handlers license are required.
• Physical ability to lift 30 lbs and stand/walk 8–12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet areas, including moving tables and chairs, according to event specifications on the BEO.
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Serve food, plated and buffet, and beverages, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and anticipate their needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized event space throughout the event.
• Execute closing duties, including but not limited to clearing tables, breaking down banquet areas, and storing equipment.
• Work closely with the culinary and planning team to ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with fellow servers to provide efficient and attentive service.
