Leap Tools is seeking a skilled Website Building Specialist to transform small retailers' sites with WordPress themes and custom plugins. You will create responsive, accessible websites and drive performance improvements.

You will collaborate with design and product teams, update core WordPress components, and build unique elements that deliver compelling brand experiences across devices.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience developing websites using WordPress (themes/plugins).
• Experience with WordPress themes/plugins, including custom development and troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first principles.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, well-tested websites.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

About you

We’re looking for a skilled and creative Website Building Specialist to join our team to help build user-friendly custom websites for small, independent retailers in the flooring and home improvement space. Working on transforming older websites into stunning masterpieces that will bring our customers' brands to the next level. We need someone with expertise in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, optimizing website performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

What You'll Do

• Build and customize websites for our customers using WordPress, ensuring they are responsive, accessible and user-friendly
• Update WordPress core, themes, and plugins to ensure website security, performance, and compatibility.

Expected salary range

Expected salary range, Ontario based: $60,000 - $80,000 + other benefits. We value exceptional talent above all else. We can scale roles and compensation to match your unique situation.
