Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our heavy civil and infrastructure teams. You will support the Project Manager and Superintendent, manage submittals, logs, cost reports, and coordinate field activities to drive project success.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Primavera P6. Field time is 20%-30%.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
  • 3+ years of relevant project engineering experience.
  • Strong MS Office suite and Primavera P6 proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Manager and Superintendent in daily activities.
  • Review and distribute submittals and RFIs; maintain project logs.
  • Coordinate budgets, cost reports and schedules.
  • Schedule self-perform, subcontractor work and deliveries.
  • Interpret plans, specs, safety rules and procedures.
  • Liaise with owner and client representatives.

Job Description: Project Engineer

Join Our Team as a Project Engineer and Grow Your Career with Webber. Webber, an industry leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our team.

Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation. The Project Engineer provides support to the Project Manager and the Project Superintendent. The support goals include goal setting, planning, communicating, organizing, implementing, and tracking. The Project Engineer is in the field 20%-30% of the time.

What You Will Do
  • Acquiring, organizing, reviewing and distributing project submittals & RFIs.
  • Creating and maintaining all required Project Logs and takeoffs.
  • Communicating with the owner and client representatives.
  • Maintaining project budgets and complete required cost reports.
  • Scheduling self-perform, subcontractor work and supplier material deliveries.
  • Reading and interpreting documents such as project plans and specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Who You Are
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar degree.
  • Preferably with 3 years or more experience.
  • Moderate to high level of proficiency operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, and Primavera 6.
