Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent on heavy civil and infrastructure projects in Texas. You will organize submittals, RFIs, logs, and cost reporting, while coordinating with owners, clients, and suppliers.

The role involves field work 20–30% of the time and requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 3+ years’ experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

  • Acquiring, organizing, reviewing and distributing project submittals & RFIs.
  • Creating and maintaining all required Project Logs and takeoffs.
  • Communicating with the owner and client representatives.
  • Maintaining project budgets and cost reports.
  • Scheduling self-perform, subcontractor work and material deliveries.

Webber, an industry leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our team.

Your Role:

Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation. The Project Engineer provides support to the Project Manager and the Project Superintendent. The support goals include goal setting, planning, communicating, organizing, implementing, and tracking. The Project Engineer is in the field 20%-30% of the time.

What You Will Do:
  • Acquiring, organizing, reviewing and distributing project submittals & RFIs.

Who You Are:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar degree.
  • Preferably with 3 years or more experience.
  • Moderate to high level of proficiency operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, and Primavera 6.
