Qualifications

Are you passionate about driving project success and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within a dynamic environment? Webber, an industry leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a dynamic IT Specialist to join our team.

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation.

The IT Specialist reports to the IT Manager providing customer-focused services for the company supporting the operations including end user support, IT devices setup, configure and delivery to user, network configuration and troubleshooting.

What You Will Do:

  1. Jobsite setup, installing Starlink, LAN/WAN networking for mobilization.
  2. Assisting managing regional office of IT related to computer peripherals, conference room AV connectivity.
  3. Prepare/delivery new user equipment onboarding process.
  4. Diagnosing and resolving technical problems with computer hardware, software applications, network connectivity.
  5. Answering user queries, providing technical guidance, and assisting with basic computer operation.
  6. Remote assistance: Provide technical support via phone, email or TeamViewer.
  7. Training personnel on in-house systems, if needed.
  8. Provide support for printers, Android, IOS, and other peripherals.
  9. Coordinate service printer fleet with vendors.
  10. Coordinate warranty repairs with vendors.
  11. Ensure consistent and effective delivery of services while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  12. Ensure all activities are tracked in the incident management application (ServiceNow/Fresh Service).
  13. Follows company procedures, processes & guidelines.
  14. Inventory management (HW, SW, Mobile, etc.).
  15. Maintains documentation of sites, equipment, software, processes and procedures.
  16. Other unlisted duties will be assigned.

Who You Are: A Profile of Success

  1. At least five years of IT Service Coordinator or Desktop Support or similar roles, A+, N+, MCP, MCSA, ITIL certification is not required but preferred.
  2. Skilled IT workplace support: hardware & software support & troubleshooting (Windows OS), printer support & maintenance, computer Infrastructure and networking, Microsoft Office 365, Android & IOS support. Basic networking knowledge.
  3. Strong work ethic, attendance and punctuality. Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  4. Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
  5. Customer focus orientation with strong customer service skills.
  6. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  7. Highly developed problem-solving abilities.
  8. Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  9. Promotes quality, integrity, reliability and teamwork.
  10. Ability to read and write English fluently, ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
