Job summary

Ferrovial, through Webber Energy, seeks an Intern Field Engineer to begin a career in energy EPC projects. The 12-week program provides hands-on support across Safety, Survey/Estimating, Project Supervision and Field Engineering in Hartsville, SC.

You will learn to interpret plans, perform basic surveying, assess man-hours, and communicate work plans to field crews under experienced mentors.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, Construction Science/Management, or related 4-year degree program.
• Strong English communication skills, verbal and written.
• Basic MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/Outlook) and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Hazard Safety Observations (HSO).
• Know and apply necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for jobsite activities.
• Observe and prevent safety incidents and conduct jobsite audits.
• Learn to interpret plans and set layouts; understand surveying for quantities.
• Assess man-hours time and materials for production; communicate work plans to field crews.
