Job summary

Ferrovial Webber Energy is offering a 12-week internship across Heavy Civil, Waterworks, Infrastructure Management and Energy divisions. You will gain hands-on exposure to safety, surveying, project supervision, and field engineering while supporting multiple roles within Webber.

We seek students enrolled in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or Construction Management and who can communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, Construction Science/Management or related 4-year degree.
• Strong English communication (verbal and written).
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Hazard Safety Observations (HSO).
• Know and apply necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for jobsite activities.
• Observe and prevent safety incidents.
• Conduct jobsite audits.
• Learn how to interpret plans and set layouts.
• Understand how to survey for quantities.
• Gain knowledge in conversions and accurate surveying practice.
• Assess man-hours time and materials needed for production.
• Communicate and delegate work plans to field crews.

• Moderate tohigh levelof computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook

• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers

• Full understanding of Construction Math concepts

• Ability to perform moderate tohigh levelof physical activity in field-based construction environment
