Job summary

Plume is seeking a highly motivated Web3 engineer to join as one of the first full-time engineers. You will work with the CTO to deliver onboarding experiences, a testnet campaign dashboard, and a secure backend architecture supporting APIs, databases, and indexers.

Expect to ship features within 1-3 months, collaborate with designers and smart contract engineers, and mentor junior engineers while expanding the Plume ecosystem on mainnet.

Qualifications

• Web3 hands-on development experience in production-grade apps used by thousands of users
• 5+ years of software engineering experience at a reputable startup or large tech company
• 3+ years of frontend/full-stack development with React or similar, NodeJS, Express, Docker, AWS, Solidity; NOT JAVA
• 3+ years of backend/full-stack development
• Based in the US or Canada
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or exceptional work history

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack product experiences like onboarding platform and testnet dashboard
• Collaborate with smart contract engineers to integrate blockchain calls in Plume apps
• Work with designers to create beautiful, responsive frontend
• Design and implement a resilient backend architecture to support APIs, databases, and indexers
• Optimize backend and frontend code to reduce latency and increase reliability
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in hiring discussions
