Job summary

Belmark Inc is seeking a Web-to-Print Press Operator for the 3rd shift in Wisconsin. You will operate our HP Indigo press in the Web-to-Print division, ensuring top-quality production while following safety procedures and SOPs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and promote Safe Quality Foods practices.
• Adhere to SOPs and work instructions.
• Maintain quality, productivity and waste as per standards.
• Operate, clean, and maintain the HP Indigo press; perform routine maintenance.
• Complete required paperwork and utilize HP DFE software.
• Keep work area clean and organized; meet 48-hour turnaround target.
• May cross-train in other Web-to-Print areas and perform additional duties as assigned.

Schedule:

• 3rd shift hours are from 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., Sunday, 12:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday

Pay:

• $23- $25per Hour.The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.
• The shift differential for 3rdshift is $2.00 more per hour

What will I do in this role?

• Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Responsible for complying with and following all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
• Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.
• Web the press. Clean the press. Perform routine press maintenance.
• Complete the necessary paperwork.
• Understand and properly utilize HP DFE Software
• Keep work area and machine organized and clean.
• Responsible for meeting the 48 hour stated turn around objective.
• May cross train in other areas of Web-to-Print
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
• Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
• Must have excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
• Ability to give, receive and analyze information.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May be required to work some overtime and on other shifts.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.

• Ability to: stand and walk for 80% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 20% of work time.

• Ability to: use hands for 100% of work time; reach above shoulders for 50% of work time; and use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time.
• Ability to lift: 10 pounds or less 25% of work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of work time; 50 pounds or less 25% of work time; and may lift 100 pounds or less 5% of work time.
• May be required to use sense of smell.
