Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabricating and distributing lifting and rigging equipment.
• Expertise in fabricating slings (nylon, polyester, wire rope) and rigging hardware.
• Knowledge of materials used in lifting and rigging applications and their properties.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to lifting and rigging.
• Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and related tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines to sew web slings for overhead lifting.
• Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine sewing requirements.
• Prepare materials by cutting fabric, straps, and components per measurements.
• Set up sewing machines with correct tension, stitch length, and thread alignment.
• Inspect finished products for defects meeting quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance including cleaning and needle changes.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly to supervisor.
