Ashley Sling, a division of American Equipment Holdings, is a leading provider of rigging and below-the-hook services in the United States. The role focuses on fabricating and assembling lifting products and wires to meet diverse industrial needs.

Qualifications

• Experience fabricating and distributing lifting and rigging equipment.
• Expertise with slings, wire rope, hoists, and rigging hardware.
• Knowledge of industry standards for lifting gear.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble lifting and rigging products.
• Interpret drawings and customer requirements.
• Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabricating equipment.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
• Review drawings, blueprints and capacity tables.
• Understand and apply order tickets codes and specifications.
• Splice wire rope and fabricate chain slings.
• Operate swaging machines, proof testers, and forklifts (training provided).
• Attach tags and labels to products.
• Report defective or substandard material or products.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
