Job summary

Walsworth - Fulton, a family-owned printer, is seeking a 1st Web Press Operator to safely and efficiently run the M600 Goss web presses. You will set up job tickets, plates, paper, and folds, and ensure quality and consistency throughout the run.

The role requires at least five years on a 4-color heat set web press, with preference for experience on Goss M600. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods in a loud production environment and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience on a 4-color heat set web press.
• Experience on Goss M600 presses preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods in a loud environment.
• Must follow safety policies and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Make ready and operate a web offset press according to printing instructions.
• Install plates, adjust blankets and cylinders for proper pressure distribution.
• Measure paper thickness and maintain ink/solution flow and density.
• Start press, monitor copies for density, position and registration.
