Job summary

RRD Company in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Web Press Operator for a 12-hour day shift rotating (7am–7pm). You will assist Press Operators with press make ready, operation, and maintenance on sheet-fed or web offset presses, ensuring quality and efficiency.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of offset press experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, and other coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years general knowledge of offset presswork procedures and materials.
• Ability to read and follow job specifications to determine press set-up materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist press operators with press make ready, operation, and maintenance.
• Insert packing sheets on plate cylinder to build up plate to printing height.
• Adjust feeder, delivery mechanisms, suction grippers, and guides as needed.
• Wash blankets and clean ink rollers and fountains.
• Make color or register corrections prior to production run to meet quality specs.
