Job summary

Wichita State University is seeking a Web Manager/Lead Tutor for the TRIO Student Support Services program on our Main Campus in Wichita, KS. This part-time role manages the SSS website, coordinates tutoring operations, and supports student success through technology and instruction.

You will mentor peer tutors, develop training materials, and ensure accessibility and up-to-date content. The schedule is 8 AM–5 PM with up to 20 hours weekly, aligned with student availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Wichita State University.
• Earned a grade of B- or better in the courses student will be tutoring.
• Experience requirements are position-specific; see additional requirements and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the TRIO SSS website is fully functional and content is updated as needed.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on website performance and usability.
• Ensure accessibility standards are met for all website content.
• Create professional PDFs for the program, including fillable forms.
• Attend required training sessions and assist with events and tablings.
• Provide weekly tutoring and support student study skills and progress.
• Collaborate with Directors and staff to carry out duties.
• Maintain accurate time logs and submit documentation on time.
