Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Regular Web Graphics Developer to join its team in the oil and gas industry in the United States. The role focuses on building advanced web-based visualizations with WebGL and Three.js, using Angular and TypeScript, and integrating backend microservices.

You will collaborate with geologists and engineers to translate complex data into performant visuals, mentor junior developers, and ensure scalable deployments on AWS or Azure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in graphics development with web-based visualization.
• BS/MS in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, WebGL and Three.js.
• Experience with backend development and microservices.
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive web-based visualization tools for oil and gas data.
• Implement advanced graphics rendering techniques using Angular, TypeScript and Three.js.
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and stakeholders to understand visualization requirements.
• Ensure visualizations are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in web visualization and graphics rendering.
• Integrate visualization tools with existing data management systems and workflows.
• Develop and maintain backend services using microservices architecture.
• Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for deployment and management of visualization tools.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
