EDUCATION
Associate’s degree in web-based multi-media, graphic arts, digital communications, or a related field. Four (4) years directly-related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (3) years web graphic design experience.
Experience in an institution of higher education with preference given for community college or health care experience.
Experience supporting hardware and software in PC and Macintosh environments.
A sample of a professional portfolio required at the time of interview.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and experience using at least four (4) of the following: Adobe (Macromedia) Director, Adobe (Macromedia) Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Web Page GUI Software
Knowledge of Javascripting, Flash, HTML, XML
Experience supporting hardware and software in PC and Macintosh environments required
Uses graphic and web development tools on both the Macintosh and Windows platform.
Must be current with online copyright laws and issues.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
