A leading community college is seeking a Web Graphic Designer to coordinate digital communications and manage the college website. The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio, knowledge of graphic design software, and will enhance the online presence of the institution. This role plays a critical part in promoting educational resources and engaging students effectively.
SUMMARY
Works as part of the Public Relations team to coordinate digital communications via the campus information network as well as creating and serving as administrator and content manager for the college website.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
EDUCATION
Associate’s degree in web-based multi-media, graphic arts, digital communications, or a related field.
4 years directly-related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
EXPERIENCE
3 years web graphic design experience required.
Experience in an institution of higher education with preference given for community college or health care experience.
Experience supporting hardware and software in PC and Macintosh environments.
A sample of a professional portfolio required at the time of interview.

WORKING CONDITIONS
General Office. Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
