Job summary

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning seeks a Web Experience Developer to design, develop, and maintain CITL's web presence using Drupal, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

You will collaborate with leadership, content owners, and instructional designers to deliver accessible, responsive experiences for faculty, staff, and students, aligning with campus branding and WCAG standards.

Qualifications

• Designing and maintaining websites with a focus on usability and accessibility.
• Experience with Drupal, WordPress, and CMS-based development.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Experience with version control and design software such as Git and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the CITL website with front-end code and CMS templates.
• Collaborate with content owners to publish web content and plan site structure.
• Apply UX principles and WCAG standards to deliver inclusive digital experiences.
• Coordinate with IT and stakeholders on web infrastructure and security.
• Stay current with Drupal developments and accessibility best practices.
