Job summary

Neros Technologies seeks a Web & Digital Experience Designer to own how we present on our website and digital footprint. You will design, develop, QA, and deploy updates, mapping digital journeys for military end users, gov't procurement, and the public.

You will own our web presence end-to-end, work with product teams to understand current and future offerings, and translate complex capabilities into compelling online experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in web and digital design, defense/aerospace exposure preferred.
• Expert level with low-code front-end tools like Webflow.
• Experience owning web launches end to end.
• Strong fundamentals in layout, typography, responsive design, and design systems.
• Experience building reactive and interactive web elements: animations, transitions, scroll effects.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced startup with strong judgment and creativity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own web design and deployment end to end from brief through to wireframe, UX, dev, QA, UAT, launch and iteration.
• Bring web experiences to life with animations, scroll-driven effects, transitions, and micro-interactions.
• Evolve our digital design language across layouts, navigation, templates, and motion.

What you will be doing

We're looking for a Web & Digital Experience Designer to own how Neros shows up across our website and digital footprint. Sitting inside the Marketing org, you'll design, dev, QA, and deploy web updates, and map the digital journeys that resonate across military end users, gov't procurement, and the public at large.

You'll own Neros' web presence and be responsible for all web launches. You'll get deeply immersed in our current and future products, our manufacturing process, and everything else needed to tell the Neros story on our most prominent digital surface. This role straddles web and visual design, UX and interaction design, low-code front-end development, and user journey mapping.

• Own web design and deployment end to end, from brief through to wireframe, UX, dev, QA, UAT, launch and iterative improvement
• Bring web experience to life with reactive and interactive elements including animations, scroll-driven effects, transitions, and micro-interactions
• Evolve our digital design language across web surfaces: layouts, navigation, interaction patterns, responsive behavior, motion, and templates
• Partner with Brand Design to maintain our web design system and component library, ensuring consistency across every page and touchpoint
• Conduct review cycles with Marketing and Executive leadership in our staging environment
• Translate technically complex products and capabilities into intuitive, compelling web experiences
• Use analytics and user feedback to test, refine, and continuously improve usability and experience
• Own information architecture as product lines and markets expand
• Manage multiple concurrent projects of varying scope and complexity

You should have the following

• 5+ years in web and digital design. Experience working in defense, aerospace, robotics, frontier technology or hardware development preferred
• Expert level skill in low-code front-end web design tools like Webflow
• Demonstrated experience owning web launches end to end (you'll design and ship live pages, not hand off mockups to web engineers)
• Strong command of web design fundamentals including layout, typography, responsive design, and design systems
• Experience building reactive and interactive web elements: animations, transitions, scroll effects, and micro-interactions
• Enthusiasm to join a low-structure, high velocity startup where you'll lean on your judgment and creative instincts more than pre-defined process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to document work processes and establish systems
• A portfolio showcasing a range of web and UX work. Projects that clearly delineate where you were sole creative owner versus shared responsibility, and what specific deliverables you owned in group efforts

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of HTML/ CSS/ JavaScript for custom code and embeds
• Experience with motion or interaction design tools
• Experience designing software interfaces or product UI

US Salary Range

$138,000 - $193,500 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
