Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of scalable full-stack applications.
• Architect robust systems using Next.js, React.js, Node.js and modern front-end frameworks.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
• Build and integrate APIs using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and Webhooks.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and solution architectures.
• Lead integration strategies across internal and external systems.
• Define API design, scalability, and security standards.
• Lead Agile delivery: backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering excellence.
• Drive team productivity and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Work with operations to enable monitoring and alerting (Splunk, Nagios, etc.).
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of applications.
• Act as point of contact for critical production issues (on-call).
• Define and execute a technical roadmap for platform modernization.
• Lead migration of legacy apps to modern full-stack platforms.
• Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Experience with modern frameworks:


• React.js, Angular, or Vue.js


• Strong understanding of responsive design, HTML, CSS, and UI frameworks


• Containerization (Docker, Podman)


• Messaging/queues (RabbitMQ preferred)


• Monitoring & logging (Splunk, Nagios, or similar tools)


• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams


• Ownership mindset with ability to drive outcomes and support team success

Nice to Have

• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)


• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot)


• Experience with large-scale application modernization initiatives
