About the Role

This role covers two areas: web development and web project coordination.

You'll review incoming tickets, make sure they have enough information to act on, and coordinate with the team to determine who has capacity to take on the work. If a ticket is too vague, you'll work with the account manager to get missing details. In some cases, you'll complete the work yourself.

Once work is assigned, you'll track it through completion, keep it on time and on budget, QA the finished work, and communicate status to the account manager.

What You'll Do

Development

• Maintain and update existing sites in our portfolio; mainly WordPress and Shopify
• Support clients & account managers with edits, customizations, and troubleshooting
• Diagnose site issues and provide solutions
• Optimize site speed, responsiveness, and cross-device performance
• Implement custom functionality through code, WordPress plugins, or Shopify apps
• Collaborate with the Web Team on layouts, functionality, and standards

Web Project Coordinator

• Track all tickets from submission through completion
• Gather the information needed to act on each ticket
• Assign tickets to the right team members
• Follow up on ticket status, deadlines, questions, and outstanding items
• Review and prioritize tickets
• Review completed tickets for quality before sending them to the Account Manager
• Document and communicate issues to the team, with links and screenshots when something is missed or incorrect

Requirements

• WordPress development experience, comfortable working with page builders, plugins, and code
• Knowledge of Shopify development, or willingness to learn
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the basics of PHPAbility to work in a fast paced environment and balance multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail
• Clear, proactive communication: keeping the team informed, flagging blockers early, and following up consistently
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong time management to handle a high volume of tickets alongside development and QA work
• Deadline discipline: staying ahead of ticket deadlines and holding the team to them
• Curiosity to bring new ideas to the table and help us improve our processes
