WOOD Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Web Developer Level 2 in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will design, build, test, and maintain content-rich websites to support mission-driven communication and user-friendly interfaces.

The role requires 8 years of Web Development experience and a BS in a technical field, with the possibility of substitution of 4 years of experience for a degree. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years experience as a Web Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a functioning user-accessible website.
• Code less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages.
• Support website planning and deployment.
• Write documentation regarding the website's technical requirements.
• Maintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades.

In this role, you'll design, build, test, and maintain polished, contentrich websites that directly support missiondriven communication. You'll collaborate closely with a talented team to gather and define requirements, explore the most effective web technologies, and translate ideas into cohesive, modern site designs. You'll coordinate the creation and integration of all necessary components, ensuring each site is visually appealing, technically sound, and aligned with industry standards, accessibility laws, and organizational guidelines. Security Clearance Requirements

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a functioning user-accessible website.
• Codes less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages.
• Support website planning and deployment.
• Write documentation regarding the website's technical requirements.
• Maintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades.
• Apply concepts, develops, tests, maintain and supports high-performance, innovative web-based applications.
• Responsible for troubleshooting software problems and providing solutions to overcome those problems using the latest technologies.
• Work with management and information technologists to determine specifications.
• Use a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business applications.
• In concert with the software development lead, develop, test, maintain and support high-performance, innovative web-based applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex software problems and providing solutions using the latest technologies.
• Work independently on more complex projects.
• Integrate new web products with existing web applications in order to improve the functionality or design of the organization's website.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years experience as a WD in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Four (4) years of additional WD experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
