Job summary

CONROO is seeking a Web Developer to advance our web app used daily by terminal operators, truckers, trucking companies, and internal operations teams.

Embedded in a focused cross-functional team, you'll own features end-to-end: from scoping with product through to production. The web app is becoming a foundational part of CONROO's product and is growing fast with latitude to shape its evolution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing web applications.
• Proficient with TypeScript.
• Experience with Vue.js 3 and Vuetify (or similar CSS frameworks).
• Experience building scalable component architectures for complex, multi-role web apps.
• Experience integrating external services via REST APIs.
• Proficient with modern SCM, build, and release tools (Git, CI/CD, Docker).

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from scoping with product to production.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering and QA across a cross-functional team.
• Ship patches to production after thorough testing and reviews.
• Shape architectural directions and improve code quality and developer experience.

Tasks

As the Web Developer, you’ll be driving the CONROO web app forward — our central platform used daily by terminal operators, truckers, trucking companies, and internal operations teams.

Embedded in a focused cross‑functional team, you'll own features end‑to‑end: from scoping with product through to production. The web app is becoming an increasingly foundational part of CONROO's product and is growing fast and you'll have real latitude to shape how it evolves. If you like building things that actually matter to the people using them and making consequential technical decisions without layers of approval, this is the role for you.

What Success Looks Like

In your first month

• You become familiar with the existing codebase, web app architecture, and development workflows.
• You take ownership of and ship your first patch to production.
• You establish effective ways of working with your cross‑functional teammates across Product, Design, Engineering and QA.
• You build the technical and product context needed to work independently and take ownership of upcoming web app development.

By 3 months

• You take full ownership of features from kickoff through development and production.
• You actively contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technical direction of the web app.
• You become a go‑to person for web‑related questions within the team.
• You identify opportunities to improve code quality or developer experience and define a concrete plan to address it.

By 6 months

• You significantly expand the web app’s feature set and stability.
• You establish scalable technical patterns that enable the team to build and ship new features efficiently.
• As a domain owner, you have a clear vision of where to lead the codebase.
• You delivered considerable value to the user by having already worked in customer integrations and are fluent with the project cycles.

Requirements

What You Need to Be Successful

• You bring 4+ years of experience in developing web applications.
• You have extensive experience with TypeScript and its practical application.
• You bring production‑level experience with Vue.js 3 and Vuetify (or comparable CSS frameworks).
• You have experience building scalable component architectures for complex, multi‑role web applications.
• You have experience integrating external services using REST APIs.
• You are proficient with modern SCM, build, and release tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker).

Must Have Tools and Technologies

• Vue js

It’s a Plus If You Have

• experience working with Nuxt.js.
• experience implementing and maintaining E2E tests.
