Lensa is a U.S. career site that helps job seekers discover job opportunities. We are not a staffing firm or agency. We promote jobs on behalf of our clients, which include employers, recruitment agencies, and marketing partners.

We’re looking for a forward-thinking Web Developer, Customer Experiences to help shape the future of scalable, intelligent digital experiences. We are a niche team embedded within Microsoft’s Marketing organization, responsible for web operations across 30+ commercial digital sites serving thousands of pages globally. This role is primarily UI-focused (User Interface focused) and ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, AI (Artificial Intelligence), and enterprise web technology. You’ll be working in a high-impact team at Microsoft, building robust, scalable UI (User Interface) solutions that integrate with backend APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) content systems, and data platforms.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.

Responsibilities

  • Develop modern, scalable UI components using Web Components and the latest web standards, with effective know-how of OOTB (out-of-the-box) solutions over custom builds.
  • Collaborate with design teams; translate Figma prototypes into high-quality, production-ready code.
  • Contribute to the evolution of a shared design system serving global audiences across diverse markets and languages.
  • Drive execution working with large vendor teams - providing technical direction, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring quality.
  • Leverage AI tools and agents (e.g., OpenAI APIs, prompt orchestration) to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Integrate with backend APIs (Application Programming Interface) and data services; ensure seamless front-end/back-end connectivity.
  • Contribute to CMS (Content Management Systems) driven experiences, primarily Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe DAM (Data Asset Management).
  • Implement analytics tagging, performance monitoring, and A/B testing strategies.
  • Stay current with UI/UX trends, web platform innovations, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Embody our culture (https://careers.microsoft.com/v2/global/en/culture) and values (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/about) .
