Software Engineer (React + Python + AWS)

We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong full-stack experience and a passion for delivering high-impact software solutions. This position is frontend-leaning with an emphasis on React and Next.js, but also requires solid backend experience, especially in Python and AWS. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love innovation, and have a knack for cloud-native applications, we’d love to hear from you.

Location: Must reside and have work authorization in Latin America.
Availability: Must be available to work with significant overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST).

The Ideal Candidate Has:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong full-stack experience with a frontend focus
• Expert knowledge of React; Next.js highly preferred
• Strong experience in Python (FastAPI) for backend development
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Step Functions, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, SQS, API Gateway)
• Excellent skills with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, RDS, Redshift, and Snowflake.
• Experience developing and deploying microservices
• Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library, SQL (intermediate level), and REST APIs
• Knowledge or experience in web scraping, AWS Amplify, and GitHub Actions
• Ability to quickly learn new frameworks and deliver innovative solutions
• Proven experience thriving in fast-paced, agile environments
• Strong English communication skills (C1 preferred, strong B2 considered)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, reliable frontend applications using React and Next.js
• Build and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI) and AWS technologies
• Integrate and optimize databases to support high-performance applications
• Contribute to the design and architecture of microservices-based solutions
• Work closely with QA to ensure robust test coverage and code quality
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design sessions
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitHub Actions
• Monitor application health and performance using modern observability tools
