Job summary

BMA is seeking a senior software developer to create high-end client-server applications, design web pages, and port applications to a web interface. Proficiency with HTML, XML, Perl, and Apache is required. Must work with clients to determine requirements and possess strong customer-relations skills.

Five years of hands-on development experience and an MS degree in CS are required. There is an IT-II security clearance requirement for this position, plus DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5 years of scripting, software development, and web-page development experience.
• Interfaces with clients to determine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have NACLC clearance at time of proposal submission.
• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT Level I.

Job description

Must be able to utilize HTML, XML, PERL, and/or Apache. Interfaces with clients to determine requirements. Requires extremely strong customer relation skills. Must be able to work independently with no supervision. Experience with FrontPage, Dreamweaver or related applications. MS degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5 years’ experience in scripting, software development, web page design and development, including five years of hands‑on software development/web-page development experience.

Clearance Requirements

There is an IT-II security clearance requirement for this position.

Required Skills & Certifications

• Five (5) years relevant experience for senior level.
• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I
