Job summary

CAFC is seeking a skilled Web Developer to build, maintain, and continuously improve its digital presence across membership, certifications, events, and content platforms.

You will work with marketing, content, design, and product teams to ensure fast, functional, and user‑friendly digital ecosystems. The role emphasizes performance, accessibility, and security in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven web development experience with a strong portfolio.
  • Strong front-end skills (HTML/CSS/JS) and CMS experience.
  • Experience with third‑party integrations and performance focus.
  • Familiarity with LMS, events, and membership platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work across marketing, content, design and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise CAFC's website and digital platforms for performance and reliability.
  • Create new pages and features aligned with campaigns and organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with design to translate visuals into responsive front‑end code.
  • Integrate CRM, marketing tools, payment gateways, and LMS integrations.
  • Ensure security, uptime, and accessibility across devices and browsers.
  • Support learning management and certification delivery platforms.
  • Oversee hosting, domains, and technical infra in coordination with vendors.
  • Identify bugs and performance bottlenecks and resolve them efficiently.
  • Contribute to project scoping and provide technical estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimise CAFC's website and associated digital platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and a seamless user experience
  • Build and implement new web pages, landing pages, and features in line with campaign, product, and organisational requirements
  • Collaborate with the design team to translate visual concepts and wireframes into clean, responsive, and accessible front‑end code
  • Integrate and maintain third‑party tools and platforms, including CRM systems, marketing automation tools, payment gateways, membership platforms, and LMS integrations
  • Ensure website security, performance, and uptime through regular monitoring, testing, and maintenance
  • Optimise website performance for speed, SEO, and accessibility across devices and browsers
  • Support the development and maintenance of CAFC's learning management system and certification delivery platforms
  • Manage website hosting, domain configuration, and technical infrastructure in coordination with relevant vendors and partners
  • Identify and resolve bugs, technical issues, and performance bottlenecks in a timely and effective manner
  • Contribute to the planning and scoping of new digital development projects, providing technical input and effort estimates
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a web developer with a strong portfolio of delivered projects
  • Proficiency in front‑end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with content management systems such as WordPress or equivalent platforms
  • Familiarity with back‑end development and server‑side technologies is an advantage
  • Experience integrating third‑party APIs, payment systems, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimisation, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards
  • Experience with responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple development tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining code quality
  • Experience working within membership organisations, professional associations, or e‑learning platforms is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, certification delivery systems, or event management integrations is desirable
  • An interest in or familiarity with the financial crime, compliance, or regulatory sector is a plus
