Job summary

Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking an experienced Web/UI Developer to advance our next generation solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will handle new development, maintenance, and enhancements across our technology stack, including Java and UI components.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong knowledge of responsive design, and excellent communication skills. Expect collaboration across teams and opportunities to grow into backend areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Total 6+ years of Web/UI development experience.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-web best practices.
• Proficient with Git/Bitbucket, Scrum, Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to explore backend/devops and ship end-to-end solutions.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform new development, maintenance fixes, and enhancements to meet business requirements.
• Draft and review architectural diagrams, specifications, business requirements, as well as various design documents.
• Work with our existing technology stack (Java, C++, Linux, Unix, Open-Source Platforms, and SOA) as well as new technologies for our next generation solutions.
• Document technical requirements, program and subsystem designs, resolutions to system problems, project task descriptions, effort estimates, and unit and integration tests.

Qualifications

• Total 6+ years of Web / UI development experience.

Required Skills

• A solid understanding of responsive design/development and mobile-web best practices.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and Bitbucket.
• Practical experience working within the Scrum Framework and Agile methodologies.
• Must possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to occasionally wander into other areas (e.g., backend, devops, other teams' codebase) and ship end-to- end solutions.
• Desire to learn, grow and "make things better than you found it".
• Self-motivated, highly organized, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, UI development.
