Job summary

Qode seeks a seasoned Web Developer to support the design, development, implementation and maintenance of unique Web Applications. The role can be remote, but requires quarterly in-office presence in Sarasota for up to a week.

The position offers a salary range of $85k–$105k and involves collaborating on UI/UX, responsive design, and integration with server-side modules to deliver robust web experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery/AJAX, JSX, Webpack, PHP, NX, Zustand, ReactJS, React Router.
• Experience with UX/UI and Responsive web design.
• Experience working with XML & JSON data structures.
• Understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform & cross-device compatibility standards and behaviors.
• Solid design and coding skills.
• Required testing and debugging skills i.e. Jest.
• Knowledge revision control practices and procedures.
• Understanding and use of source control repositories i.e. GIT, SVN.
• Previous experience working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Write functional requirements and develop detailed technical designs from business requirements.
• Responsible for coding and testing web applications as well as maintaining, supporting and upgrading of existing web applications.
• Create JavaScript libraries of reusable components driving UI consistency.
• Works effectively with service developers to integrate server-side code.
• Write well-documented code.
• Maintain and organize internal style guides.
• UX Best Practices.
