Job summary

Milliman, Inc. is offering an in-person/hybrid internship in Chicago focused on building a web application using React with a backend in C# and ASP.NET Core.

You will work with REST APIs, collaborate with QA and senior developers, and present progress regularly. The role provides exposure to modern web technologies such as React, C#, and Azure, with opportunities to learn through Lunch & Learn sessions and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing abachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Demonstrated academic and/or professional progress in software development.
• Experience with REST APIs and JavaScript
• Familiarity with C# and/or databases (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the web UI of our core application using React, integrating with C#, ASP.NET Core, and web APIs.
• Collaborate on developing features that are released to and used by real-world production systems.
• Contribute to day-to-day coding, debugging, testing, and team meetings, ensuring high-quality implementation and alignment with project goals.
• Gain exposure to additional technologies such as Microsoft Azure, and other modern web tools, with opportunities to present progress and findings to the broader team.
