Job summary

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the philanthropic heart of Broadway, seeks a web designer who blends design and development. You’ll craft email campaigns, responsive pages and the look of our online presence, collaborating with a developer to bring designs to life in-house.

The role bridges graphic designers and developers, enabling digital experiences that connect supporters and donors while upholding accessibility and brand standards.

Qualifications

1–2 years of professional web or digital design experience.
Strong portfolio in web, email and digital design.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and image formats.
Experience designing responsive emails in Mailchimp.
Familiarity with WordPress theme design, HTML, CSS and WCAG accessibility.

Responsibilities

Design responsive, standards-compliant Mailchimp email layouts.
Redesign and modernize Mailchimp templates to stay on-brand.
Develop wireframes and designs for new WordPress pages.
Create WordPress themes with in-house development partner.
Apply responsive design and accessibility standards.
Maintain design consistency for broadwaycares.org and dradance.org.
Translate creative requests into wireframes and finished designs.
