Job summary

SunSoft Online is seeking a Web Content Manager with a strong focus on accessibility to ensure WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA compliance across agency web properties. The role involves audits, remediation of PDFs and media, plain-language content creation, CMS administration, and staff training.

You will work in Phoenix on a hybrid schedule, with a 6-month contract and W2 employment. A Bachelor's degree and expertise in assistive technologies are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 and testing methods.
• Experience with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).
• Familiarity with Section 508/ADA Title II and semantic HTML5/CSS; responsive design.
• Excellent plain-language writing and copyediting; ability to remediate PDFs/documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead accessibility audits using automated tools and manual testing.
• Remediate non-compliant PDFs and media; ensure WCAG compliance across agency sites.
• Write clear, plain-language content for benefits information.
• Administer and configure the CMS; train content contributors.
• Collaborate with teams to enforce accessibility standards across properties.
