Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 8+ years experience with Oracle Databases, procedures, performance tuning.
• 8+ years developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications, proficient in MVC conversion.
• Familiarity with Dot Net Core application development.
• Familiarity with Azure services and Azure app development.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server; creating/writing stored procedures.
• Experience with batch processing and data loading.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services 2017+.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint.
• Gathering/documenting business and technical requirements.
• Testing of custom apps, reports, large data sets, dashboards.
• Producing technical documentation: requirements, specs, traceability, designs, testing.
• Experience working with development teams on large enterprise projects.
• Develop specifications and overall planning/management of projects.
• Provide weekly status reports and monthly written reports to leadership, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate.
• Ensure technical direction and standards are followed.
• Develop project plans and measure progress against plans.
• Maintain project documentation: plans, budgets, risk, communication, change logs.

Rate: W2 + CHP

Minimum Qualifications of Candidate:

The Department is seeking an Internet/Web Architect professional with the following minimum qualifications (these qualifications must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks):

• Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems Degree, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with Oracle Databases, Oracle functions, stored procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning.
• Minimum 8 years of experience developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications, & Proficient in converting ASP.net web forms to MVC.
• frameworks.
• Familiarity with Dot Net core application development.
• Familiarity with Azure services and application development on Azure
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server; Creating and Writing Stored Procedures.
• Experience with batch processing and data loading.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services 2017 and above.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services.

Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate.
• Will ensure technical direction and standards are being followed
• Will develop project plans and measures actual progress against the plans
• Will assures that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs, and reports.
• Will demonstrate an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions
• Will manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.
• Will manage change control within the projects
• Will obtain sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that affect the critical path.
• Will write documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.
