Job summary

Dexian seeks a Web Architect in Tallahassee, FL to lead web app development and modernization efforts. The role requires deep expertise in Oracle databases, ASP.NET MVC, C#.NET, SQL Server, and Azure services, with a focus on governance, planning, and documentation.

Contract through June with potential extension. You will collaborate with leadership, deliver weekly and monthly reports, and guide teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality across enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is required.
• 8+ years with Oracle DBs and SQL Server stack, including SSRS/SSIS.
• 8+ years developing ASP.NET web apps; MVC migration experience favored.
• Proficient in C#, MVC, ASP.NET 4.x, web services, Bootstrap, and JS frameworks.
• Familiarity with .NET Core and Azure services for app development.
• Experience documenting requirements and testing enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing specifications and overall project planning.
• Meet leadership weekly and provide status reports; communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure technical direction, standards, and governance are followed.
• Develop project plans and measure progress against them.
• Ensure documentation covers plans, budgets, risks, communications, and logs.
• Contribute to business solutions aligned with tactical goals.
• Manage project risk with mitigation planning.
• Handle change control; obtain sponsor approval for scope/budget/schedule changes.
• Write documentation for testing and verification of modifications.
