Institutional Insights & Innovation (i3) is seeking an experienced Web Application Developer (Software Developer 2) to help design, build, deploy, and support a growing portfolio of institutional applications and digital platforms.
This position is ideal for a versatile, experienced developer who enjoys working across the full lifecycle of a software product: understanding a problem, designing a solution, writing application code, integrating systems and data, deploying applications, troubleshooting production environments, and continually improving the systems they support.
The Web Application Developer will work closely with developers, designers, product and project staff, student contributors, and partners across the University. The successful candidate will contribute directly to major institutional initiatives while also helping strengthen the technical practices and infrastructure that allow i3 to develop and operate software reliably at scale.

This may include Linux application environments, web servers, databases, authentication systems, APIs, deployment workflows, background processes, logging, monitoring, and other components necessary to move software successfully from development into production.
This is a full-time, end-dated position with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding.

Employment of the successful candidate is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check.
