Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to innovate and deliver AI/ML solutions for diverse customers. You will design, develop, integrate, deliver, and support complex ML solutions, guiding technical direction across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related STEM field.

• 5+ years’ experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or Python, ML/AI frameworks, libraries, data structures and data modeling techniques.
• Extensive experience in all phases of machine learning application lifecycles.

Responsible for the design, development, integration, delivery, and support of complex ML solutions, this individual must be a self-directed professional. In addition to a depth of ML and AI knowledge they must possess excellent communication, leadership, and influencing abilities with a demonstrated ability to guide technical direction across multiple teams.

You need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field or Bachelor's degree in any subject with a Master's degree or higher in a STEM field required.
• 5+ years of software development experience and/or commensurate skills building commercial and ML applications.
• 5+ years’ experience and/or commensurate skills with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or Python, ML/AI frameworks, libraries, data structures and data modeling techniques.
• Extensive experience in all phases of machine learning application lifecycles from problem mapping and scoping to data gathering and preparation to optimizing model performance.

Compensation Range: $190,000.00-$230,000.00 Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process. Salary determination will be determined based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, demonstrated skills related to the requirements of the role, education, certifications, and geographic location.
