Job summary

lufco is seeking a Web Application Developer specializing in Data Visualization, located in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role involves transforming desktop tools into web apps and enhancing user experience through UX/UI development.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 8 years of development experience. Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks is essential. The position requires active TS/SCI clearance and offers collaboration within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years experience as a developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute UX/UI development workflow from wireframes to high fidelity prototyping.
• Develop dashboards providing insight into service status and health.
• Incorporate human factors into design for better user experience.
• Customize COTS components for enhanced application functionality.
• Drive incremental web application development following software processes.
• Document technical requirements.
