A leading consumer organization is continuing to invest heavily in its digital and ecommerce capabilities and is looking for a Web Analyst to join its growing analytics function.
The business is focused on becoming increasingly customer-centric in how it approaches ecommerce, using data to better understand online behavior, improve the shopping experience, and drive digital growth. This role will work closely with teams across Digital Merchandising, Product, CRM, Media, and Ecommerce.
THE ROLE
As a Web Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding what is driving website and ecommerce performance and translating customer and web data into actionable recommendations.
You will:
- Analyze website, customer, and ecommerce data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers
- Use Adobe Analytics, SQL, Tableau, and Excel to conduct analysis and deliver actionable insights
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting around key website and digital KPIs
- Analyze customer journeys, conversion funnels, site engagement, and online shopping behavior
- Design and analyze A/B and multivariate tests, translating results into recommendations
- Partner with Product, Digital Merchandising, CRM, and Media teams to define measurement strategies and optimize website performance
- Support web analytics implementation across tagging, event tracking, and data quality
- Work with platforms including Adobe Launch, GA4, and Google Tag Manager
- Conduct proactive and ad hoc analysis to answer key business questions and uncover opportunities
- Apply statistical testing methodologies to validate findings and communicate results to non-technical stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve web data quality and follow through on implementation
- Present insights and recommendations that influence stakeholders and business decisions
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of experience in Web Analytics, Digital Analytics, Ecommerce Analytics, or a closely related field
- Strong SQL and Excel skills
- Experience analyzing website performance, digital customer journeys, conversion funnels, and ecommerce behavior
- Experience with Adobe Analytics strongly preferred
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
- Understanding of A/B testing, multivariate testing, and statistical methodologies
- Strong understanding of web, digital, and ecommerce metrics and terminology
- Ability to turn complex data into clear, commercially relevant insights and recommendations
- Comfortable partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and proactively identify opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
