Job summary

STI seeks an experienced ADA Web Accessibility Specialist in Atlanta, GA to lead accessibility testing across web and mobile applications. You will apply automated and manual testing tools, assistive technologies, and WCAG guidance to ensure conformance and usability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years as a Quality Analyst with QA methodology knowledge.
Hands-on experience with automated test tools and test management tools like Jira or GitLab.
In-depth knowledge of ADA tools and standards for accessibility testing (e.g., WAVE, JAWS, axe, ANDI).
5+ years in UAT methodologies for enterprise conformance within agile projects.
Experience with assistive technologies across devices and browsers.
CPWA or WAS certification is preferred.
Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.

Responsibilities

Lead testing and audit activities using manual and automated accessibility testing tools.
Conduct accessibility testing to WCAG and regulatory standards.
Create, document, and manage test plans, test cases, and scripts.
Perform functional, end-to-end, and regression testing of applications.
Develop test scripts, standards, and playbooks for accessibility.
Document and report defects and ADA-related priorities.
Collaborate with analysts and clients to understand requirements.
Serve as subject matter expert for accessibility testing of web and mobile apps.
Participate in system designs and usability research for accessibility.
