Job summary
Falls Technology is seeking an on-site Accessibility Engineer in McLean, VA to audit web apps for Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA, train teams, and build accessible interfaces. You will test with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and ZoomText, review designs in Figma or Adobe XD, and guide developers toward inclusive UX practices.
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required; core hours are 9 AM to 3 PM with no travel.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance required with Full Scope Polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Hands-on Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA experience.
- Experience testing with assistive technologies (JAWS/NVDA/VoiceOver/ZoomText).
- UI development experience and accessibility UX work in design tools.
Responsibilities
- Audit web apps against Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA and track findings.
- Test with assistive technology to verify accessibility.
- Build and remediate accessible user interfaces.
- Review UX designs in Figma or Adobe XD for accessibility.
- Train developers and designers on accessibility practices.
