Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, Technical School or College Education preferred.
• Mechanical Aptitude Required.
• Experienced in weaving and slit-film or other manufacturing processes.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Stand on concrete floor for long periods.
• Good Communication (Verbal) Skills
• Team Player
• Must be able to work on a 12-hour shift, day or night.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership during presence in the facility to departmental team members in their production area.
• Safeguards the well-being of the department and its team members.
• Leads and supports the team in achieving agreed-upon goals.
• Meets and exceeds the agreed-upon production goals.
• Ensures that all team members have a safe and clean work area.
• Supports good housekeeping and proper equipment condition.
• Leads daily maintenance activities and interacts with the team to motivate and train.
• Drives an atmosphere of fairness and open conversations at all levels.
• Ensures optimal maintenance of equipment and takes corrective actions as needed.
• Monitors product flow and inventory during production and shipment.
• Oversees Beaming and Burnoff activities during nights and weekends.
