Job Summary: The Jacquard Weaver is responsible for operating and maintaining Jacquard looms to produce high-quality woven fabrics, including mattress tapes and mattress ticking, according to production schedules and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, technical skill, and a strong understanding of textile weaving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor Jacquard looms to produce woven materials according to design and quality specifications.
• Inspect woven goods for defects and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent quality.
• Thread, tie-in, and change yarns or warps as required for new runs or color changes.
• Maintain proper loom operation by performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or yarn-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety and production procedures to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
• Work closely with the weaving supervisor and quality control team to ensure product standards are met.
• Record production data and report any machine or quality issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating Jacquard or dobby looms, preferably in a textile manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of weaving techniques, yarn types, and fabric construction.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor loom adjustments and maintenance.
