Job summary

Winegard Energy in Fresno, California is seeking Weatherization Technicians with at least 1 year of experience to install energy efficiency measures for small businesses and residential properties. You will meet with business owners, install devices such as air purifiers, smart thermostats, LED lighting, and occupancy sensors, and document installations within a 60 mile radius of Fresno.

Schedule is Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm; compensation starts at $20 per hour plus incentives, with benefits

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in Weatherization, HVAC, Appliance installation or Handyman fields.
• BPI certification is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
• Must have good communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Must have a clean and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle and drive to jobsites within a 60 mile radius
• Meet with business owners and explain the installation process
• Identify measures to be installed and what material is needed
• Document measures installed
