Job summary

Meta in Redmond seeks a senior researcher- engineer to own a core reconstruction and generative enhancement area for wearables. You will drive the roadmap from research through production, delivering production-quality code and guiding multi-team efforts.

You will advance 3D representations optimized for on-device delivery, define image quality gates, and manage training data strategy while collaborating with product and platform teams to ship new features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or PhD with CV/graphics/ML focus or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years building production computer vision or graphics systems.
• Strong background in geometric vision and related techniques.
• Experience training and deploying deep learning models.

Responsibilities

• Own a core area of our reconstruction stack and set its technical direction.
• Advance 3D visual representations optimized for on-device delivery.
• Develop image composition and correction techniques.
• Lead generative quality improvement for real-world capture.
• Optimize models for on-device inference under compute constraints.
• Define image quality gates.
• Partner with product/platform teams to ship prototypes to production.
• Shape the technical roadmap and influence across teams.
• Deliver production-quality code and review others' work.
