Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed before joining Meta
• PhD in computer vision, ML or related field
• 2+ years of CV research experience including 3D reconstruction/SLAM

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct original CV research including 3D reconstruction, scene understanding, generative modeling
• Develop and train deep learning models on large-scale image/video datasets
• Benchmark algorithms against state-of-the-art methods and publish results
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research into scalable AI capabilities
• Contribute to training data creation and annotation pipelines for vision tasks
• Publish research results at top conferences and journals
• Maintain code quality and reproducibility in shared research codebases
• Work with cross-functional partners to align research with product goals
• Instrument experiments with logging and evaluation metrics to support data-driven decisions
• Propose new research directions to improve existing vision systems
