Delart is seeking a Power Validation Engineer to lead power measurement methodologies for wearable consumer devices. You will define tests, validate power circuitry on prototype hardware, and drive automation to capture and report consumption data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 3+ years validating power subsystems for consumer devices, preferably wearables or mobile electronics.
• Proficiency with Buck/Boost regulators, LDOs, load switches, fuel gauge ICs, SoC power domains.
• Experience creating power validation/test plans and automation strategies.
• Proficient in capturing/analyzing power data with lab equipment like scopes, meters, and loads.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or LabVIEW for automation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Android OS, Linux kernel, and SoC power architecture fundamentals.
• Understanding of I2C, SPI, UART protocols.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and refine power measurement methodologies for wearable devices from concept to mass production.
• Bring up, debug, and validate power circuitry on prototype hardware with hardware/firmware/software teams.
• Develop and maintain automated frameworks for capturing, analyzing, and reporting power measurements.
• Execute comprehensive power validation test cases across use cases and device states.
• Document validation plans/reports and support root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Generate and maintain testing instructions and validation artifacts.
