Job summary

LifeLens Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Biomedical Signal Processing Scientist to develop algorithms from multi-sensor wearables, including PPG, ECG, and accelerometry, for clinical and consumer health metrics.

You will work offline on large datasets and in real-time on-device processing, collaborating with hardware, firmware, and clinical teams. Room to grow into owning measurements from prototype through validation as the company expands into consumer products.

Qualifications

• PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, neuroscience, physics, applied mathematics, CS, or related field.
• Research experience counts toward experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate algorithms from multi-sensor data (PPG, ECG, accelerometry).
• Conduct offline analyses of large clinical/field datasets.
• Create robust methods against motion artifacts and real-world conditions.
• Build and maintain data processing pipelines and analysis tools.
• Adapt algorithms for real-time device use and clinical validation.
• Contribute to verification/validation for regulatory submissions.
• Write clean, tested, reproducible code.
• Communicate results to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to meet deadlines.
