Job summary

The Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. team seeks an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) in Hutchinson, KS to perform paid patient fittings for a wearable defibrillator. You will train patients, coordinate with prescribers and caregivers, and travel to hospitals and patient homes to complete fittings.

Role requires strong patient care skills, confidentiality, and flexibility to cover daytime, evening, or weekend hours with competitive pay for each fitting.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background such as nurses, cardiac device roles, engineers, technicians.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a good driving record.
• Ability to pay for vendor credentialing during a probationary period.
• Experience in patient and/or clinician education.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator via assigned fittings.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to hospitals, homes and facilities to provide fittings.
• Measure patients to determine correct garment size.
• Manage inventory of kits, garments and equipment used in fittings.
• Adhere to confidentiality and hospital policies.
